St. Patrick's Day Centerpiece etc....

This next St. Patrick's Day craft is very kid friendly- I know for a fact since I did it with a very excited 2 yr this morning. And it's FREE- using just supplies I already had on hand.

We got our quarterly candle shipment yesterday- a gift from my mother in law that I LOVE- every three months new candles arrive on my doorstep packed in Styrofoam that gives me all sorts of ideas. This time around we took the two large cake like pieces out for our base.

Then we painted our bases- I was not patient enough to find my spray paint- we used acrylic and it worked fine.

While that was drying we traced shamrock outlines on the back of our scrapbook paper- just one of each. Once we cut out the first set we flipped them over and traced them to get our backing shamrocks.
Here you see our two sets of shamrocks laid on top of each other.

Then we spray painted some skewers from our junk drawer white.

The cover the shamrock in modge podge and sandwich your skewer between your two shamrocks.

Stick shamrocks in Styrofoam at varying heights, and voila!

Pinch Proof?

I wanted to make little A a St. Patrick's Day tee, but I had a hard time coming up with something to say that wasn't kiss me or some other widely used saying. I came across a hat in a clearance section with this saying on it and knew it was perfect. There's no tutorial for this one, I just cut the letters, ironed them on, then stitched around the edges. Enjoy!

Be sure to enter our giveaway and win this tee!

Here's to you little A

For two days in a row I have caught little A sporting the "bando" look. So today's etsy montage is deciated to all headbands and clips.

Feathered Azure
I couldn't even pick a favorite and right now she's offering one dollar shipping!

Beautiful pieces and she contributes part of her proceeds to create care packages for women who have been rescued from human trafficking.

This would be so cute in a newborn picture, very tempted to buy for little A.

My beautiful and talented friend owns Runway (and 2 other etsy stores!) everything there is simply beautiful.
Great prices and lots of colors of zipper flowers to pick from- I LOVE these!

This is simple enough to wear with jeans but elegant enough to wear out on the town.

I love this bobby pin, would look so cute tucked in by a ponytail!

Let it snow.... again....

Well more snow is predicted for today and tomorrow here in Northwest Arkansas so I thought I would see what fabulous cold weather finds esty had- I was not disappointed!
(As always all these items are for sale just click on the link!)

I love the buttons on this cowl and the color- actually there's nothing I don't love about it!

This set is just precious! I love that you can get a matching set- now if I could only get my little girl to wear a scarf!

My little sis ordered this from emilymaysparks and LOVES it- all I can say is its way cuter than the earmuffs I used to wear!

Now I don't have a little boy, but I have noticed at craft fairs I've done and just about everywhere there is a shortage of really cute boy items. This hat is so cute it makes me wish I had a little boy to put it on!

I like things to be a little understated and this hat is gorgeous and understated.

Nesting Doll Heaven

In honor of my sweet husband's birthday tomorrow I thought I would see what cute Matryoshkas(he lived in Russia for two years serving a mission for our church) were on etsy- I was not disappointed.

(All these items are for sale on etsy.com, just click on their hyperlink.)

I really like the whole tee and homemade skirt look lately- I just wish mine turned out as cute as this outfit did.

These may very well be my favorite item of the set, I think it is such a cute and different take on a mother's necklace. LOVE it!

I love the smell of lavender and the sachet is TOO cute.

I love fabric covered buttons but especially love this fabric. I wish little A had more hair so we could put one of these to use!

I've never gone anywhere that needed a passport and don't have any upcoming trips that need a passport (bummer) but ask my husband- I have plenty of plans and dreams that will use a passport. This would be such a cute way to store your passport.

Valentines Picks

Here are some darling Valentines finds from etsy.com. Enjoy!
(All these items are for sale and can be purchased by clicking on their link!)

LOVE this banner, and I love that everything on the mantel in the picture coordinates.
I just like the idea of these heart crayons, they are a cute alternative to giving candy to friends.

Simple, sweet, enough said.

I think this would be super cute hanging on a wall or on a little easel on the counter.

This makes me want to go back to Target and buy one of the mailboxes there and try my own hand at a cute valentine mailbox.

Alexander Henry fabric need I say more? I love that it is paired with a cute zebra print. TOO Cute!
